Sailing Vessel SIRI

Sailing Vessel (SV) SIRI is a 1993 Waterline 47-foot steel sailboat built in Sidney, British Columbia, Canada, by Ed Rutherford of Waterline Yachts.

Her name, SIRI, is short for Sigrid, meaning "beautiful victory" in Old Norse, a nod to the Norwegian roots of her former owners.

About

The crew

We're Ethan and Danielle, an American couple who moved aboard SIRI in 2025 determined to explore the world before our bodies grew old or our minds got the better of us. What started as a daydream evolved into a life shift--one less driven by careers and commutes for one guided by curiosity and courage.

And that's DTessi (silent D), a dutch shepherd once a working sportdog who, as her muzzle greyed, wised up the fact that naps take far less work than.. working. Naps, snacks, snuggles and the occasional game of fetch are really all this four-legged crew member needs to be content.
